9:30 PM â 10:15 PM: đŊī¸ Dinner

11:30 PM â 1:00 AM: đ Stargazing (Telescopes) & đ Binocular Demos 3 & 4
1:15 AM â 1:45 AM: đī¸ Astronomy Talk â 2
2:00 AM â 2:45 AM: đ Starlores â 2
3:00 AM â 4:00 AM: đ Stargazing (Telescopes) & đ Binocular Demos 5 & 6
5:00 AM onwards: đ First return bus departs. Buses run until all participants are dropped back.
Observe the Cosmos
- Naked Eye Observation: Learn to identify major constellations and bright stars.
- Telescopic Observation: Explore the Moon's craters, Jupiter (with moons), and Saturn (with rings) through professional lenses.
- Expert Guidance: Sessions led by researchers from IIT and TIFR.
Disclaimer: Sky observation is 100% weather-dependent. In case of cloud cover, alternative indoor multimedia astronomy sessions and researcher talks will be conducted. Visibility of specific celestial objects depends on atmospheric conditions.
Do's
- Wear heavy layers/jackets
- Bring water & dry snacks
- Carry a red-light torch
- Bring bedding/mat to lie down
Don'ts
- No white lights/flashes during sessions
- No loud noise or music
- No littering (Remote location)
- Do not wander away from the group
Note: This is a science-focused event, not a picnic. Decorum is mandatory.
Registration Policy
To ensure fair access for all participants, we have implemented the following limits:
- Maximum 10 registrations per phone number
- Maximum 10 registrations per email address
- 1-minute gap required between registrations using the same phone number
- Each registration requires a unique participant photo
- All participants must be at least 8 years old
Important: These limits help prevent spam and ensure genuine registrations. If you need to register more than 10 participants, please contact the admin team directly.
